HISTORY OF STAFFORDSHIRE SIGNS & GRAPHICS
1975 - Traditional Sign Writers
David Keasey started the company back in 1975 known as “D K Sign Studio”, and was originally a traditional sign writers. In 1978, at the age of 14 yrs old, the current Managing Director Richard Keasey would return from school and go straight to work with his father learning the trade.
1977 - Staffordshire Signs and Graphics
In 1977 the company Staffordshire Signs & Graphics was born, with the use of new computer plot and cutting machine technology from spandex Plc. From then on and up to the present date the company is constantly developing with new technology and materials. This shows as we were one of the very first companies to develop signs & graphics as a combined service.
Richard Keasey
Richard Keasey has over 25yrs experience within the sign industry and has developed from working with all kind of materials and technology’s. He is now the current Managing Director of Staffordshire Signs & Graphics and has continued to develop the company with the investment in our new large format full colour solvent printer.
2005 - New Premises
In February 2005 the company moved into its new premises in Burntwood, Staffordshire with over 4000sq ft of floor space. We have purposely developed the manufacturing, fabrication, painting and application areas, including the all-new graphics department complete with our new machinery which includes the Gerber Elan full solvent printer, able to print up to 1440 dpi near photographic quality at 1640mm wide onto a wide range of materials.
